PRN Pharmacists Wanted

Sage Specialty Hospital of Wichita Falls is currently seeking PRN Pharmacists!

We are looking for professionals that want to join our team to help improve the well-being of our patients and their families. You will be interacting with a fantastic team that values its employees and constantly works to provide a positive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in the department’s operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and professional standards.
  • Assesses and evaluates patient and family needs in order to identify and monitor patients care needs related to medication.
  • Develops, discusses and communicates patients' medication profile in order to address all identified needs.
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of pharmacy services provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
  • Responsible for the preparation and distribution of all patient medication.
  • Promotes infection control principles as identified in Hospital policy and procedure.
  • Promotes quality improvement, environmental and patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
  • One (1) to three (3) years of pharmacy experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Basic computer skills with minimal guidance
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
