Job Summary:


The Registered Nurse Administrator/Manager to lead the daily operations of our AHCA accredited four (4) OR Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Registered Nurse Administrator/Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Ambulatory Surgery Center, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, oversee clinical operations, quality improvement initiatives, staff development, physician relations, and patient satisfaction while providing direct clinical support as needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. 
  • Supervise, mentor, evaluate, and develop nursing and clinical staff. 
  • Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, competency evaluations, and continuing education. 
  • Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and vendors to ensure efficient daily operations. 
  • Monitor quality assurance, patient safety, risk management, infection prevention, and performance improvement programs.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness, medication management, and life safety compliance. 
  • Oversee supply inventory, purchasing, and equipment maintenance. 
  • Participate in budgeting and operational planning with ownership. 
Requirements:
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership experience 
  • Previous experience as an ASC Administrator, Clinical Manager, Nurse Manager, or Director preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with AAAHC accreditation , AHCA regulatory compliance , and CMS Conditions for Coverage is required. 
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced with all required ASC regulatory reporting, quality reporting, accreditation documentation, incident reporting, QAPI reporting, infection prevention reporting, and state and federal reporting requirements. 
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with electronic medical records and surgery center management systems preferred
