Corner Alliance, a dynamic growing consulting firm dedicated to an enriching employee experience, is looking for a Public Safety Program Manager with 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategy, project and people management to join our team.
About the Role: The Public Safety Program Manager will manage a team of consultants providing creative organizational development, strategy, strategic alignment, meeting design and facilitation, and monitoring guidance to a federal government client. Responsibilities include managing a team; providing advisement to the client for program and office development; collaborating with senior federal clients and stakeholders to identify tough challenges and solutions; creating quick turn-around deliverables often including graphics; and helping Federal clients develop long-term strategies that support the organization and its constituents. The successful candidate will be a progressive thinker with a strong attention to detail, and a self-starter who can juggle many tasks on a daily basis.
Location: Position is located at the client-site in Arlington, VA and metro-accessible at the Ballston stop.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Quickly develop rapport with federal government clients in a professional and creative environment
  • Manage the consulting team's day-to-day activities, performance, and career development
  • Provide overall organizational development and strategy support for a new government office
  • Design and facilitate outcome-driven client meetings
  • Understand and provide counsel on organizational development principles, strategy best practices, and organizational business processes
  • Manage and identify efficiencies in organizational processes and tools
  • Develop strong knowledge base on subject matter and required skills
  • Bring action planning and the ability to get initiatives implemented

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of experience, preferably in organizational development, performance measurement, or strategy development
  • Knowledge and experience advising and dealing with public safety communications related projects and programs
  • Be equally comfortable working at a strategic level and producing high quality client deliverables
  • Previous experience in strategy development, consulting, business writing, meeting design and facilitation, and/or stakeholder engagement
  • At least two years of experience managing people including career planning, feedback, and annual reviews
  • Experience with strategy development best practices, methodologies, and theory
  • Direct experience working on a day-to-day (face-to-face) basis to provide senior level advisement to clients and/or senior officials
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex information into manageable pieces
  • Receptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; skilled in writing, editing, and knowledge management
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Proficient in problem solving with a flexible approach towards stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude even when faced with changes or adversity
