  • Proven Experience: VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction. 
  • Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more. 
  • Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Required Certifications: 
  • VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction 
  • VDOT Asphalt Field 
  • VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I) 
  • VDOT Pavement Marking 
  • VDOT Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Certification for Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection; DEQ preferred 
  • VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training 
  • VDOT Full Depth Reclamation
