How you'll make an impact
Acting as an onsite safety liaison with primary focus in construction and fire safety, incumbent(s) will conduct job site inspections to monitor conformance with constructions and fire safety standards and coordinate with the project management team to help improve safety on the jobsite. Inspects site to determine if conditions meet the required Federal, state and local standards and documents any unsafe conditions. Provides comprehensive accident investigations that include interview, photographs and written report. Coordinates with client and participates in loss control inspections with insurance brokers and/or carrier representatives and accompany all regulatory official on site inspections. Coordinates onsite safety meetings and appropriate tool box talks. Perform new worker orientations. May supervise onsite staff.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science. Minimum 6 years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting. Registration or designation in one or more of the following technical areas: Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional or Professional Engineer. Prior experience in profit and loss management for consulting.
