JOB SUMMARY

As a Safety Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will:

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Safety Engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting safety assessments, hazard identification, and compliance evaluations in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and machine‑safety standards, including guarding, lockout/tagout, and ergonomics
  • Ability to develop, implement, and validate corrective actions and engineering controls
  • Familiarity with tools, fixtures, and equipment design principles related to safe operation
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, maintenance, operations, and leadership teams
  • Experience performing risk assessments, updating safety documentation, and supporting validation activities
  • Skill in delivering safety training, technical guidance, and hands‑on instruction to on‑site teams
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on reducing risk and improving safety performance
