Your Opportunity to Make an Impact
As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across our operations. You will partner with employees and leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies, and support continuous improvement initiatives that help keep our people safe every day. Through training, audits, inspections, and employee engagement, you will help create an environment where safety is a shared responsibility and a core business priority.

What You Will Do
  • Monitor and support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in safety planning activities, job hazard analyses, and pre-task planning meetings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs, toolbox talks, and certification activities.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, training records, audit results, and reports.
  • Manage the internal safety audit program and support ongoing compliance initiatives.
  • Serve as a safety resource for employees, providing guidance, support, and safety-related information.
  • Partner with management and employees to promote awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement in workplace safety.
  • Support additional safety and compliance initiatives as needed.
Who We're Looking For
Experience amp; Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-focused role, preferably within a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, health and safety management systems, and applicable government regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, investigations, and training initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and safety documentation systems.
Education amp; Certifications
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Health amp; Safety, Safety Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Trainer, OSHA Authorized Trainer, and/or OSHA 10 certifications are preferred but not required.
The salary range for this role is $27/hr. - $31/hr. and a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
