Job description

Position: Health and Safety Representative
Location: United States, , Lubbock
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Category: Manufacturing and Production
 
Responsibilities
 
Promote strong safety culture
Create and maintain safety programs and policies
Perform safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions – regularly
Identify root causes and lead accident investigations
Report safety performance and maintain OSHA logs
Lead/ train safety committee and coordinate
Maintain and document proper safety supplies
Ensure compliance is followed with Cal/OSHA, PSM, and HAZCOM standards

Qualifications:
 
Associate’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of safety experience, preferably in food manufacturing
Familiar with OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
Spanish bilingual is a plus but not required
Comfortable working in both office and cold storage environments
