Safety Coordinator

What you will enjoy doing*
  • In this role, you will assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management
  • You will maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation in compliance with company procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including preparing reports
  • You will work with a collaborative team to provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management
  • This position supports administering, maintaining and training on HSE programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, etc
  • In this position, you will observe and model the safe culture, but adhering to all safety requirements, and proactively working with leaders and employees to promote a Safety-First culture

  • You will possess a Minimum High School Diploma or GED, and more than five (5+) years of related experience
  • If you have an Associate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or two (2) years' experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position, that is preferred but not required
