• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to fully understand each patient's unique circumstances and challenges, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing individual needs and incorporating cultural considerations into therapeutic strategies.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that focus on a range of mental health issues, promoting resilience, coping strategies, and overall well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and thorough patient care, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment.

• Respond to mental health crises with timely and effective intervention, ensuring patient safety and support during emergencies.

• Offer education to patients and families regarding mental health issues, available treatments, and relevant community resources that can provide additional support.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding confidentiality and documentation practices.

• Engage in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions that enhance cultural competency and community awareness, ensuring alignment with our organizational values.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling, adjusting methods and approaches as necessary to meet current standards.

• Matter's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Tennessee.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy, with a proven ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations with composure.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and foster trust with clients and colleagues.

• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools for documentation and communication.

• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a cooperative work environment.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling.

• Familiarity with community resources and services available for patients with varied backgrounds.

• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
