Canad Inns Destination Centre Grand Forks is looking for a dependable and professional Security Guard / Floor Host to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment for our guests, employees, and property.
This position is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, observant, reliable, and comfortable working in a guest-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and professional environment throughout the property
  • Monitor guest activity in common areas, entrances, outlets, and event spaces
  • Assist with crowd control and guest conduct when needed
  • Support hotel management, front desk, restaurant, and event teams during busy periods
  • Respond to guest concerns, disturbances, or safety-related situations
  • Complete regular property walks and report any concerns
  • Enforce hotel policies in a respectful and professional manner
  • Communicate with management, security team, and local authorities when necessary
  • Complete incident reports when required
Qualifications:
  • Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred
  • Prior security, hospitality, customer service, or law enforcement experience is an asset but not required
