Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and Project Coordinator(s), including work allocation, performance management, and professional development.
  • Personally manage complex, high-priority, or customer-facing projects from handoff through stabilization and closeout.
  • Assign projects and balance team workload based on scope, complexity, risk, timing, and available capacity.
  • Establish and maintain practical project standards, templates, reporting expectations, and operating cadences.
  • Ensure projects have defined scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, acceptance criteria, and customer responsibilities.
  • Lead customer kickoff, status, readiness, risk, and closeout meetings and document decisions and commitments.
  • Coordinate delivery across Sales, Product, Engineering, Field Engineering, Training, Support, Client Success, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate customer, schedule, resource, technical, financial, and scope risks with recommended actions.
  • Manage scope changes and document impacts on schedules, resources, costs, and customer commitments.
  • Provide leadership with accurate portfolio status, resource needs, risks, recovery plans, and decisions required.
  • Improve project handoffs, accountability, delivery predictability, and customer experience.
  • Perform other related duties and operational initiatives as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervises Project Managers and Project Coordinator(s) and is accountable for work allocation, coaching, performance management, professional development, and team results.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, technology, project management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 3+ more years of progressive project management experience, including complex customer-facing implementations or operational projects.
  • 2+ or more years of people leadership or demonstrated responsibility for coaching and directing project professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects directly while managing team performance, capacity, priorities, and escalations.
  • Strong project planning, risk and issue management, change control, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to coordinate technical and nontechnical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor direct report staff.
  • Advanced Problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced client-facing soft skills, such as de-escalation and persuasion.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
