Security Officer Fire Guard Front Desk


Expected duties may include but are not limited to • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times • Monitor CCTV • Monitor fire alarm panel • Provide JSB standard customer while assisting clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests • Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, packages and/or activities • Maintain presence in lobby and assist visitors • Immediate response and assist to emergencies to provide necessary support and contact emergency services when necessary • Patrol site • Write incident reports and log book entries • Protect the client’s and company’s assets from theft, assault, fire or other safety issues • Ability to work independently and with other team members


Requirements: • 2 years security experience • Valid New York State Security Guard License • Fireguard S95 Certification or willing to obtain • CPR & First Aid • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required • Flexible work schedule • Must be able to work weekends • Strong and Consistent Work Ethic • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Command of the English language and ability to be clearly understood in English • Strong smartphone & tablet operating skills • Professional Demeanor and Appearance • 18 years old (or the minimum age required by State) • Authorized to legally work in the United States • Pass a drug test with negative results • Pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, and employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicable • If prior military, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer
