Seeking a Senior Configuration Manager (CM) to work closely with a DoD customer to provide CM and Systems Engineering (SE) support towards the development of software baselines for a large operational team from cradle-to-grave.   

The candidate will: Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Perform change control and configuration audits. Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.). Coordinate across multiple organizations to schedule and facilitate meetings such as CCB’s, ERB’s, MRB’s and RRG’s and ensure the correct Stakeholders are available.  Facilitate meetings ensuring audio video equipment is properly configured and briefing material is available. Brief internal and external organizations on processes to include Configuration Management, Data Management, Requirements Management and System Engineering. Support the organization’s corporate tools to include multiple Atlassian JIRA instances and Confluence spaces and administration of SharePoint libraries.  Record meeting minutes and capture artifacts. 

Requirements: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance with full scope polygraph
  • A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required or 5 additional years of work experience can be substituted for a degree
  • A master's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • Eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager, System Engineer or Test Engineer
  • Ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills

This position is available immediately and is fully funded.
