Ship/Receiving Clerk 2 Transform technology products into business growth areas for our customers. Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities: Must demonstrate a proven proficiency and competence in the responsibilities and tasks associated with the S/R Clerk 1, Requires a deeper understanding, enhanced skills, and a track record of successful performance in the respective warehouse role, building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the earlier stages. Furthermore, candidates should be prepared to assume additional responsibilities. Picker Level 2: Batch Picking: Efficiently pick multiple orders at once by combining items with similar characteristics, optimizing the picking process for increased productivity. Quality Check: Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on picked items to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging. Receiver Level 2: Return Handling: Process returns from customers, inspect returned items, determine their disposition, and update inventory records accordingly. Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers or vendors regarding discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items in received shipments Inventory Control Level 2: Stock Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend actions, such as reordering or clearance. Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to implement optimization strategies, like ABC analysis, for efficient stock management. Shipper Level 2: Shipping Documentation: Prepare and complete shipping documentation, including bills of lading, export documentation, and customs declarations for international shipments. Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and resolving any shipping-related issues or delays. Requirements: Strong attention to detail Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for a prolonged period Must be able to effectively work within a team environment Communicate and can follow verbal and written directions
