Job description

Diagnostic Radiologists Sought Across New Jersey Under RWJBH

Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health (RWJBH), the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking diagnostic radiologists (all subspecialties) to join our system-wide Radiology Service Line across the state staffing 5 hospitals under RWJBH. Our Radiology Service Line is growing rapidly under the direction of Dr. Tej Phatak with a mission of providing high-quality care across multiple sites. We are eager to recruit dedicated, compassionate, competent, and service-oriented physicians to become a part of our team for the long-term.

Both new graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply! Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the fellowship stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of fellowship!

Candidate requirements:

  • Must be ABR board-certified or eligible
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ

Join RWJBarnabas Health's commitment to cultivating a team of dynamic and diverse physicians. Our goal is to create an equitable environment in which to work and receive care, to champion a diverse workforce, and to foster an inclusive setting that meets the social, cultural and linguistic needs of the communities we serve state-wide. We welcome and embrace the unique perspectives of our physicians, recognizing that this leads to better patient care, satisfaction and outcomes.

This position is being actively recruited by Susan Bethay, Physician Recruiter, with support from Dr. Tej Phatak, Medical Director of the Radiology Service Line at RWJBH. Interested candidates please share your CV by email to Susan.Bethay@rwjbh.org.

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $410,000 to $705,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

RWJBarnabas Health is New Jersey's largest integrated health care delivery system, providing treatment and services to more than three million patients each year. With 12 acute care hospitals, 3 children's hospitals, a growing number of our outpatient facilities and physician practices, our healthcare system is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and health education to the community and region.

Our dedication to serving the people of New Jersey extends far beyond the care we provide within our hospital walls. We support programs that promote health and wellness in our communities and provide access to services that would otherwise be unavailable. We are committed to the ongoing improvement of the health, quality of life, and vitality of our communities. We strive to bring the best healthcare to meet the evolving needs of residents in New Jersey โ€” whether that be enhancing the coordination for treating complex health conditions or improving community health through local programs and education.

Our partnership with Rutgers University creates the state's largest academic healthcare system dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, leading-edge research, and world-class health and medical education, further advancing our mission of providing high-quality healthcare in New Jersey.

The new collaboration also aligns RWJBarnabas Health with Rutgers' education, research, and clinical activities, including those at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
