Job Summary:
RWDY Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator III responsible for the design, administration, security, maintenance, optimization, and integration of enterprise database environments. This senior-level role requires advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and involves managing complex data requests to support business applications.
Responsibilities:
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases in production and development environments.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Manage database security, user access, permissions, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze database performance and implement tuning solutions.
• Support application teams with database-related troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Participate in database upgrades, patching, and system maintenance activities.
• Validate database changes through testing and quality assurance processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for database improvements and future technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Previous experience as an Information Technology professional.
• Previous experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator.
