Job description

We are seeking a skilled RV Technician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various RV systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with hands-on mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will work primarily independently within a small team, performing essential repairs and ensuring recreational vehicles are safe, fully operational, and customer-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, propane, and appliance systems
  • Install aftermarket items such as solar panels, backup cameras, and frame-mounted tie downs
  • Repair and replace fiberglass and metal siding as well as structural components like roofs and floors
  • Winterize and dewinterize RV units seasonally
  • Prepare insurance estimates and coordinate with insurance adjusters
  • Answer service-related calls and manage service schedules
  • Assist parts and sales departments when needed
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
  • Provide occasional support at RV shows including towing, setting up, and tearing down

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in RV maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of RV plumbing, electrical (110v and 12v), and propane systems
  • Experience with fiberglass and metal repair, and solar panel installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a small team

Clearview RV Snohomish area family owned RV dealership that provides old-fashioned one-on-one customer care. We have a Mid Size service shop equipped to handle travel trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes, oversized vehicles, living quarters horse trailers and cargo trailers. Our service department is fully equipped to service most RVs from standard maintenance to full restoration or collision repair. We do everything except motor, transmission and chassis type mechanical work. For over 30 years Clearview RV has been servicing RV enthusiasts with top quality service and products. We do it all with a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff which understands the needs of today's RV customer.
