Job description

Job Title: Industrial Spray Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and applying coatings to metal and composite surfaces using spray equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVLP, electrostatic, or airless spray systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The work will support US Government projects, including maritime, parts & components, machinery, and internal buildings & structures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and apply coatings to metal and composite surfaces using spray equipment.
  • Use HVLP, electrostatic, or airless spray systems efficiently.
  • Work on large structural steel painting, particularly those with bridge painting experience.
  • Perform tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Occasionally work at customer sites.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of painting experience, with 5-7 years ideal.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic.
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly.
  • Experience using hand tools and performing physical work.
  • Experience working on construction job sites.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with pneumatic sprayers, paint guns, and spray painting techniques.
