Russian-Speaking Home Care Intake Specialist


I&Y Senior Care is Hiring!


We are looking for an experienced Russian-speaking Intake Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with home care experience who understands the intake process, enjoys working with clients and families, and knows how to move cases efficiently from referral to start of care.


We are especially interested in candidates who are familiar with NY Medicaid, MLTC/MCO plans, PCA and HHA services, and the home care enrollment process.


Key Responsibilities


* Manage new referrals from initial contact through the intake and enrollment process

* Communicate with Russian- and English-speaking clients and families

* Collect and verify required client information and documentation

* Explain home care services, eligibility requirements, and next steps

* Coordinate with Medicaid, MLTC/MCO plans, authorization, scheduling, HR, and other departments

* Follow up consistently on pending enrollments and outstanding documentation

* Maintain accurate and detailed case notes

* Identify barriers that may delay enrollment or start of care and work with the appropriate team to resolve them

* Maintain strong communication with clients, families, referral sources, and internal departments

* Deliver a professional and supportive experience from the first call through start of care


Qualifications


* Fluent Russian and English – required

* Previous home care intake experience strongly preferred

* Familiarity with Medicaid and MLTC/MCO enrollment

* Knowledge of PCA/HHA home care services

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Excellent follow-up and organizational skills

* Ability to manage multiple active cases and priorities

* Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment


Position Details


* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

* Work Setting: In-office

* Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
