What You’ll do

As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for collaborating with others to develop and maintain brand elements, create artwork for various mediums, and design a wide range of print and electronic projects. This includes packaging, advertising materials, internal documents, web/social media graphics, and more. You will work with different media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD), while staying up to date with emerging design technologies and software programs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain brand elements and guidelines.
  • Formulate new layouts and create artwork that aligns with the brand's visual identity.
  • Design and create a wide range of print and electronic projects, including advertisements, brochures, posters, direct mail, email, social media posts and corporate identity pieces.
  • Ensure that the designs are visually appealing, effectively communicate the intended message, and meet project objectives.
  • Work with various media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD), to enhance and incorporate visual elements into design projects.
  • Utilize design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash to create high-quality graphics and layouts.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs and software.
  • Continuously improve design skills and adapt to industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Communicate and present design concepts, ideas, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Design weekly flyers, ensuring visually appealing layouts, effective messaging, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Create pricing signage that is clear, consistent, and easy to understand for customers.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success
  • At least 2 years of graphic design experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
