Job description

Position Summary

The "Senior" Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the front line of Tennis Circuits’ growth. This is an outbound, target-driven role focused on one outcome: getting tennis clubs onto the Tennis Circuits platform and actually running events. The Senior SDR identifies and prospects clubs across their territory, runs outreach, schedules demos, supports educating the club or organizer on the revenue power of (no contracts, its FREE), and shepherds each new club through onboarding until it goes active — defined as running events with at least 100 registered players. Once a club is active, day-to-day operations pass to an Event Manager, freeing the SDR to keep developing relationships and activations with other club owners.

What You’ll Do

• Run high-volume outbound outreach — calling provided lists and developing additional opportunities where Tennis Circuits will deliver additional revenue for potential candidates.

• Clearly educate club owners and organizers on the revenue that can be generated running tournaments, leagues, camps, clinics, match play, junior team tennis, lessons, and other high-revenue, member-engagement events.

• Tennis Circuits is FREE to clubs and organizers — there is no signup, just initial conversations and booked demos with you and a Tennis Circuits Events Manager. The next step is the club adopting Tennis Circuits (Activation), after which the Events team handles all onboarding, event setup, and account management.

• After the demo and activation, Tennis Circuits Events Managers will assist event setups and support each club in achieving their revenue and member engagement goals.

• Meet or exceed call volume and quality targets on a daily basis. Weekly calls with the CEO to review progress and club activations.

What Success Looks Like

• Daily minimum call targets met or exceeded.

• Club activation targets met or exceeded.

• Clear accounting and updates from lists of club and organizer opportunities.

• Your ability to research additional opportunities.

• Support and drive every activated club reaches a minimum 100-registration activation bar quickly after onboarding. The Events team will be the primary force behind onboarding, event setups and activations but you are required to have a presence until activation is complete being the primary initial contact.

• A full, well-communicated pipeline that keeps activations predictable month over month and provides visibility to the CEO.

• Keep the CEO informed via CRM system of in process club conversations. The CEO know most of the club owners (or they know him) which will assist in final conversations about adopting Tennis Circuits.

Who You Are

• A stand up individual that club owners can trust and Tennis Circuits can be comfortable with you representing the company.

• A senior contributor that has a great personality. You will be speaking with club owners and organizers that have been successful in the tennis business.

• A confident, self-directed, personable communicator who is comfortable with high-volume outreach and hearing “not yet.”

• Organized and CRM-disciplined — you track your pipeline and follow up relentlessly.

• Motivated by clear targets and per-club payouts; you treat activation as the finish line, not the signature.

• Familiarity with tennis, racquet sports, or club/league operations.

Compensation

Base salary plus an uncapped, performance-based activation bonus. The SDR earns on every club they get live and running — not merely activated. Base Salary + Commission.

Base Salary

Fixed monthly salary, paid on the regular payroll schedule $4,000 / month ($48,000 annualized)

Activation Bonus

One-time bonus per club that goes active — a club is “active” once it runs events and reaches 100 player registrations. No cap.

$250 / activated club, targeting 6 clubs per month.

$350 / activated club beyond 6 per month.

Activated Club = 100 player registrations within the first 90 days.

Territory

You will work monthly campaigns that target state by state including prospecting, scheduling demos, and activating clubs and organizers. The state by state campaign is a rotational target but you have the flexibility to target any interested clubs in other states at any time.
