Job description

The Concierge / Food Runner is a dual-role position responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in both the restaurant and Club Lounge. This associate will work as a Food Runner during restaurant service periods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food, while also serving as the Club Lounge Concierge during scheduled Social Hour shifts, providing a welcoming atmosphere and personalized guest assistance.
This position requires an outgoing personality, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining Marriott and Sheraton service standards.
Food Runner Responsibilities
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Verify each order for accuracy before leaving the kitchen.
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest requests and special dietary needs.
  • Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations, expo areas, and dining room.
  • Refill water, assist guests when appropriate, and anticipate service needs.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support restaurant operations during busy meal periods
Club Lounge Concierge Responsibilities
During scheduled Social Hour shifts, the associate serves as the face of the Sheraton Club Lounge.
Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome guests into the Club Lounge with a warm, genuine greeting.
  • Set up and break down the evening Social Hour according to brand standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage presentation, replenishing items as necessary.
  • Keep the lounge clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.
  • Interact with guests, answer questions about the hotel, local attractions, dining, and transportation.
  • Assist guests with simple requests and direct more complex issues to the Front Desk or Manager.
  • Ensure all food displays meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a professional and hospitable atmosphere that encourages guest engagement.
  • Record inventory shortages or maintenance concerns and report them promptly.
  • Close and secure the lounge following established procedures.
