Pelican Pete's is a well-loved tiki-style restaurant on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA. At Pelican Pete's, we're all about having a good time. As Lake Lanier's only floating tiki bar and restaurant, we offer a one-of-a-kind waterfront experience featuring unbeatable lake views, live music, and some of the best food and drinks on the lake. Centered around good food, good drinks, and good times, Pelican Pete's continues to be a favorite gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the kitchen in finalizing plates as they ready for transport to the guests
  • Transporting food items on trays to guests located throughout the dining room.
  • Checking for guest satisfaction and retrieving any items requested by guests that will improve their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of stations before, during, and after shifts
  • Greet guests warmly and monitor satisfaction throughout their visit
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations, including alcohol service policies
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work assignments
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training sessions
  • Support smooth operations by collaborating with the front-of-house team

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum age of 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
