Job description

The Position
Rudin seeks to hire a Leasing Consultant to serve as a brand ambassador for our residential communities, delivering exceptional experience to current and prospective residents. Beyond hospitality, this role is central to the property's leasing success, encompassing marketing, sales, content creation, and apartment listings. The ideal candidate is polished, personable, and committed to delivering white glove service at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Deliver a hospitality-first experience for current and prospective residents ensuring every interaction reflects Rudin's commitment to exceptional service.
  • Anticipate resident needs and proactively address questions or concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency, partnering with the management team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with residents through consistent, attentive, and polished communication that supports resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Document resident concerns, service needs, and follow-up actions thoroughly and in a timely manner to support accountability and continuity of service.
  • Support the planning and execution of resident events and community programming to strengthen engagement and foster a welcoming residential experience.
  • Ensure property curb appeal, common areas, vacant apartments, and show units are maintained to Rudin's standards, and are always tour-ready.
SALES AND LEASING
  • Utilize Elise AI to manage prospect inquiries, creating a warm and informative first impression that encourages prospects to tour the property.
  • Provide prospective renters with accurate and compelling information about the community, available residences, amenities, pricing, and neighborhood experience.
  • Conduct apartment tours that highlight the value of the community and tailor the experience to each prospect's needs and preferences.
  • Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up with prospects until they lease or conclude their search.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Leasing Supervisor and external brokers to showcase available apartments and support leasing activity.
  • Assist current residents with on-site transfer opportunities as needed, ensuring a smooth and positive transition experience.
MARKETING AND PROPERTY PRESENTATION
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor rents, apartment availability, and product positioning to support informed leasing conversations.
  • Use Yardi CRM, Rent Café, and Yardi Voyager to track apartment availability and ensure website content, photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing are accurate and current.
  • Monitor and maintain external listings to ensure available residences are presented consistently, professionally, and in alignment with Rudin standards.
  • Create and review marketing content that accurately reflects the residential experience and supports prospect engagement.

Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field (e.g., luxury retail, hotel/resort services, residential leasing, or property management) Apartment leasing experience or experience in a customer service-related industry (i.e., retail sales, hospitality)
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in luxury residential leasing, hospitality, property management, sales, customer service, or a similar guest-facing environment
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building skills, and customer service skills, with a hospitality-first mindset and proven ability to generate leads, present offerings, qualify prospects, and close sales
  • Professional, detail-oriented individual with strong written, verbal, and mathematical skills, including the ability to prepare leasing documents, resident communications, and calculate rent, fees, and deposits
  • Ability to travel regularly between multiple nearby properties (approximately 50-75% of the role)
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday schedule, 9am-6pm
  • Proficiency with various property management software's and Product
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws

  • This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus paid quarterly
