We are seeking a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer who is skilled at building scalable applications and comfortable leveraging AI in both development workflows and product features. You will work across the stack, from backend services and APIs to front-end interfaces, helping us deliver data-driven insights and workflow automation.
Responsibilities
  • Primary focus on developing integrations with third-party systems and our own API
  • Build and maintain full stack web applications with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and modern front-end frameworks
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features end-to-end
  • Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices

Requirements
  • 1-2+ years in a startup environment
  • Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails (5+ years professional experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design
  • Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures and data privacy/security best practices
  • Experience with background job processing and automated testing
  • Front-end experience with HTML, CSS (Tailwind), JavaScript, and Hotwire (Stimulus and Turbo).
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) in the development process
  • Experience with crafting fault tolerant, resilient, and observable integrations with 3rd party API's
