Technical Sales Representative

Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support sales of pipeline equipment and winch attachments for heavy equipment. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, understanding job requirements, delivering technical solutions, and driving revenue through prospecting, product demonstrations, quoting, and closing opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle while providing ongoing technical and customer support.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect, generate leads, present solutions, negotiate contracts, and close sales for equipment and attachments.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with pipeline, general, utility, railroad, and earthmoving contractors and dealers.

Product Expertise

  • Develop strong knowledge of equipment applications, features, and benefits to recommend optimal solutions.

Technical Support

  • Assist customers with product selection, installation, and performance optimization.

  • Serve as a liaison between customers and engineering or product teams.

Sales Process & Administration

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and documentation.

  • Maintain CRM records and follow up on RFPs and opportunities.

Market Awareness

  • Monitor industry trends, new products, and competitive activity.

Marketing & Events
