Rubber Molding Press Technician | Barberton, OH

A day in this role

From the start of your shift, you’ll prepare molding presses, load raw rubber stock, and dial in temperature, pressure, and cycle times. Throughout the day, you’ll monitor equipment, document production, and perform visual checks to catch even the smallest defect. As orders move, you’ll safely handle materials and finished goods, support teammates, and keep the line moving to exact quality standards.

Compensation & schedule
  • Starting pay: $17.65–$18.65 per hour
  • Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift opportunities
  • Work hours: 10- and 12-hour schedules available
Core responsibilities
  • Feed raw rubber materials into molding presses according to work orders
  • Operate machinery per production schedules and SOPs
  • Track and adjust process variables (temperature, pressure, cycle time)
  • Inspect parts visually; identify defects and escalate issues
  • Manually load/unload materials and finished components safely
  • Complete related tasks and support production as assigned
