Mold Press Operator (Temporary)

Job Details

  • Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 / HR (Depending on Experience)
  • Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Monday – Friday
  • Training Schedule: Must be available to train on 1st shift for the first 2 days.
  • Duration: 6-Month Temporary Assignment
  • Location: Houston, TX 77091
  • Required PPE: Steel-toed boots

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Mold Press Operator for a 6-month temporary assignment in the 77091 area. This role is responsible for setting up and operating molding machinery to produce parts according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable and ready to complete a brief 2-day training period on the 1st shift before transitioning to their permanent 2nd shift schedule.

Core Responsibilities

  •  Operate mold press equipment to cycle, shape, and form products efficiently.
  • Load raw materials or inserts into the molds and carefully unload finished components.
  • Monitor the production process and perform basic visual inspections to ensure parts are free of defects.
  • Strictly adhere to company safety protocols and keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (molding experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 35-50 lbs.
