Job description

Rubber Installation Technician

Remove used liner products from exchanged teat cups.

Wash and sanitize teat cups.

Organize washed and sanitized teat cups by size and brand.

Install new liners per Dairy specifications into teat cups.

On Dairy replace existing used teat cups and liners with washed and sanitized teat cups with new liners.

Graph pulsation on Dairy for each installation point, perform claw vacuum checks when needed, and ensure they are in DDS NEW specified range of acceptance.  

Address issues of any installation point that does not meet specifications or notify the service department manager.

Perform visual checks of short air tubes, twin air tubes, milk tubes, CIP tubes, wash manifolds, CIP rods, claws, bleeders and wash cups during installation.  Communicate back to your supervisor any needs on the Dairy.

Speak with each Dairy Producer at each visit prior to leaving informing them of any issues, concerns or upcoming needs.

  • Install new short air tubes, twin air tubes, milk tubes, CIP tubes, and wash cups on Dairy when needed and scheduled with Dairy Producer.
  • Maintain inventory transfers into appropriate warehouses.
  • Assist Scheduled Maintenance on larger maintenance projects.
  • Any other duties that management sees fit.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment in shell preparation area.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe operating company vehicle.
