Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift position in a neuro diagnostics and respiratory therapy unit, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details
  • 13-week travel contract
  • Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • Rotating weekend requirement: every other or every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • No on-call requirement
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • NICU experience preferred but not required
Requirements
  • Current RRT credential required
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
  • Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NRP preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Proficiency in adult critical care, ED, patient transport, direct intubation/extubation, nasal airway placement and suctioning, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, ventilator management, aerosol mask, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing
  • Experience with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia management
  • Neonatal/pediatric equipment and procedures experience preferred but not required
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
