RPG Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled RPG Engineer to join their development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications written in RPG for IBM i (AS/400) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of RPG IV, ILE, Free-form RPG, and related technologies, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new and existing applications using RPG IV, ILE RPG, and Free-form RPG
  • Perform system analysis, design, and coding for various business requirements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing RPG applications
