This position will report to the SCADA Manager and support SCADA Operations.

  • Designing control/SCADA systems in Ignition including databases and database interfaces, data analytics & reporting, scripting (Python, Java, etc.) and general programming.
  • Designing intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
  • Participating in designing meetings and consulting with internal customers to create, refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs.
  • Engaging in all phases of the Ignition SCADA development lifecycle which includes gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models.
  • Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability and performance.
  • Developing, testing, and implementing new SCADA programs and functionality on-time.
