IBM iseries DB2 SQL Developer
DB2 Advanced SQL (Stored Procedures) Developer

  • Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iSeries platform, utilizing SQL stored procedures, modernizing tables, performance tuning and working with large transactional tables.
  • Expert level experience with SQL stored procedures implementing business logic on the IBM iseries platform. Please give examples of 2 projects where they have done this. Please note that this is a MUST.
Nice to have:
  • experience with coding custom implementations for HFM, oracle financials, etc.
  • Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in DB2
  • IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc
  • Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
  • exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
  • git source control and integration
