Data Migration Engineer
Our client, is driving a major data modernization effort following its acquisition. We''re looking for a hands-on Data Migration Engineer to help move critical mortgage data from AS400 (IBM i) into a modern SAS environment.
This is a high-impact role where you''ll work directly with legacy systems and modern data tooling to enable enterprise analytics.
What You''ll Do- Migrate mortgage data from AS400 / DB2 to SAS
- Analyze and work with RPG (RPG III / IV) code and data structures
- Build and manage transformation pipelines using DBT
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reconciliation during migration
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on requirements and validation
What You Bring✅ Strong experience with AS400 / IBM i
✅ Expertise in RPG programming
✅ Hands-on experience with DBT
✅ Solid background in data migration / ETL / ELT
✅ Experience with DB2 (AS400) and SQL
✅ Exposure to SAS (preferred)
Nice to Have- Mortgage / financial services experience
- Cloud or modern data platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
