**Part-Time (24 hours a week)**


JOB SUMMARY

An Internal Audit Administrator coordinates the internal audit process, manages audit documentation, and tracks compliance with corporate policies. They will prepare audit schedules, maintain work papers, coordinate meetings, and assist auditors in evaluating financial controls to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate risk.


DUTIES

  • Audit Coordination: Communicate with engaged external auditors in scheduling audits and coordinate audit meetings and audit documents requests among internal auditors, external auditors, department heads, and key stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain, organize, and archive audit workpapers, reports, and evidence.
  • Compliance Tracking: Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations from previous audit reports, complete tracking reports, and perform audit validation according to recommendations and management responses.
  • Process Support: Assist in drafting annual audit plans and compiling data for risk assessments.
  • Liaison Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding audit schedules, documentation requests, and policy clarifications.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION: Community college or bachelor’s degree with related major is plus.
  • EXPERIENCE: 0 - 2 years of banking or comparable work-related experience.


SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication.
