Position: New Business Case Manager Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job Id: 236 # of Openings: 1

The purpose of this position is to provide proactive support to Trusted Fraternal Life’s Sales professionals and the Underwriting team by acting as owners of Life and Annuity new business cases and striving to maximize the number of cases issued and placed.

This role requires a deep understanding of what Sales professionals need to be successful, in addition to a broad depth of new business and underwriting knowledge. Individuals in the role must have the ability to quickly understand and research unusual and complex questions with undefined parameters and produce accurate responses.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manages the life cycle of each application working closely with the sales professionals and underwriters while demonstrating an ownership mentality
  • Displays critical thinking and proactive case management skills throughout the new business process
  • Engages in proactive communication to sales professionals regarding submitted applications as well as build rapport and loyalty through excellent support and guidance
  • Conducts professional and accurate telephone interviews with the applicants for completion of the medical Part II of the life application
  • Works with multiple cases at one time, prioritizes workload with direction and provides updates on key/critical cases
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high level of professionalism
  • Excellent decision-making skills with an eye towards finding “win-win” solutions
  • Self-starter with excellent teamwork skills and an innate sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary software
  • Bilingual/Spanish Communication a plus
