A typical workday for a Roving Security guard involves patrolling multiple buildings or areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, responding to alarms or incidents, and verifying access at entry points. You may spend time completing detailed incident reports, collaborating with onsite staff, and providing a visible deterrent to unauthorized behaviors. Shifts often require walking or driving between locations, staying alert to changing security conditions, and communicating regularly with a central security team.
