Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Support Rover in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support patients, staff, and visitors while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support orderly movement throughout the location.
  • Support access control, badge verification, and other security-related functions in accordance with site policies while maintaining professionalism and customer service at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
