As a Senior Analyst II, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a key role on the Supply Chain Finance team supporting Outbound Delivery. In this high-impact role, you will analyze delivery performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights across transportation expenses, productivity, cost-to-serve, service performance, and key P&L drivers. You will partner closely with Outbound Delivery, Transportation, Field Operations, and Finance leaders to explain results, identify opportunities, and influence decisions that improve cost, service, and execution.


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead monthly P&L analysis and reporting for Outbound Delivery, including transportation expenses, delivery labor, carrier costs, fuel, and related cost drivers.

  • Support annual budgets and monthly forecasts by analyzing shipment volume, route productivity, delivery density, service levels, carrier mix, and operating trends.

  • Build and deliver financial and operational reporting that measures cost per order, cost per stop, cost per mile, on-time delivery, productivity, and network efficiency.

  • Prepare monthly business review summaries that clearly communicate variances, risks, opportunities, and actions affecting Outbound Delivery performance.

  • Analyze delivery optimization initiatives, including route productivity, carrier strategy, network changes, service models, and cost-to-serve opportunities.

  • Enhance reporting through finance systems, business intelligence tools, automation, and data quality improvements.

  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders to identify trends, evaluate financial trade-offs, and influence decisions that improve cost, service, productivity, and customer experience.


What you bring to the table

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial reporting, planning, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large data sets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting that help operational leaders make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset focused on automation and reporting efficiency.

  • Experience supporting transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations is preferred.


Qualifications:


What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field; equivalent related work experience may be considered.

  • 3+ years of progressive finance or related experience.

  • 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience.

  • 1+ year of Power BI experience.

  • 1+ year of SQL experience


What’s preferred

  • MBA or master’s degree in a related field.

  • Experience translating large, complex data sets into business insights using tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, or Alteryx to automate manual reporting and improve efficiency.
