Job Title: Field Network Technician ll

Location: Zanesville, OH 43701

Duration: Fulltime role

Shift timings: M-F 8-5

 

Job Description

•IT field technician tasks: driving to client sites and providing general IT Support, running break-fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients, the level of support will vary depending on the customer but do expect printer, laptop, server, network, and other technology devices.

•Provide full-service consultant services for network LAN, WAN, WLAN, off-site data storage, cabling infrastructure, failsafe recovery, remote access systems, firewalls, routers, switches, application management & development, communications integration, phone systems, security access devices, email, DNS, Web hosting, applications development, RAID storage, network printers, various server deployments, and all related hardware & software.  Setup install and maintain wireless routers. 

•Smart Hands tech needed for PC REFRESH, Desktops replacement and laptops replacement.

• Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s)

• Technician will travel to each client’s location

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server, and Printer

• Works under general supervision

• There will be overtime Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years plus supporting Desktops, Laptops, and Printers.

• 3 years plus of customer service experience

• CAT5/CAT6 network cabling routing/termination/testing.

• Install Conduit/Wiremold as needed for best cable management.

• IT rack installation (patch panel, switch, firewall, router, NVR, power supplies).

• Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position – reimbursed accordingly)

• Able to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends

• Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments

• Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift to 50lbs.

• After training is complete, candidate will be added to the on-call rotation 7x24 Basic Needs/Haves • Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position

• Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities

• Laptop

• Basic Hand Tools

• Possess a valid driver’s license Preferred.
