Driver Helper / Recycling Laborer

Pay: $20–$23 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time (Hours Vary)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Driver Helper to assist our Box Truck Driver with collecting recyclable materials from commercial customers. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active and working outdoors.

As the Driver Helper, you will ride with the driver throughout the route, helping load and unload containers of recyclable materials while ensuring each stop is completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

· Ride along with the CDL Box Truck Driver on daily pickup routes.

· Load, unload, and move containers of recyclable materials.

· Work collaboratively with your driver to ensure efficient delivery operations

· Assist in safely securing loads for transport.

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

· Help maintain a clean and organized truck.

· Provide professional and courteous customer service at pickup locations.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule.

· Start times can be as early as 2:30 AM or as late as 8am, depending on the route.

· Generally shifts range between 8-10 hours per day, but could be more or less depending on needs

· Days and hours vary based on customer demand and route schedules.

· Applicants must be punctual and available to work flexible hours.

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Able to repeatedly lift 40 pounds

· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Able to bend, lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

· Reliable transportation to and from work.

· Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

· Ability to work well as part of a team.

Pay & Benefits

· $20–$23 per hour, based on experience.
