Job Summary
The Roustabout 1 position is responsible for supporting the oil and gas operations. The position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis but has a focus on oil site/equipment maintenance industrial piping. The Roustabout is someone willing to work with their team in challenging outdoor environments over long hours in a fast paced workplace. They also work with equipment such as backhoe, forklift, skid loader, trucks and trailers, vacuum truck, and so forth. Sentry crews work traditional work schedules (no rotational shifts) Monday through Friday with weekends available.

  • Tank installation and repairs
  • Dig pits and lines
  • General cleanup
  • Install motors on equipment
  • Set well equipment at well locations which includes cement pads and pumping units
  • Responsible for tie-down of pumping units and installing counter weights for balancing pumping units
  • Install and repair pipelines such as steel, and poly
  • General yard maintenance of ground and buildings
  • Haul gravel for tank battery location and road upkeep
  • Must be proficient with tools including air and electrical
  • General knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting

Qualifications and Skills
Experience working in oilfield construction highly desired. Functional understanding of how tank batteries are installed as well as other well-site fixtures are preferred. Experience in industrial pipe-fitting or plumbing may be substituted for some oilfield experience.
