A Day in Your Life at MKS

As a Machine Operator 1 you will set up and operate a variety of computer-based automated equipment to manufacture and measure parts. Equipment used may include machines such as Laser Machining Systems, Injection Molding Machines, and Coordinate Measuring Machines.

**Must be current MKS Inc. Contingent Worker holding a Machine Operator position**

You Make an Impact By:

  • Responsible for the overall operation of manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.
  • Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given to perform production duties.
  • Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined outcomes.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work and under close supervision.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 0 - 1 year of related experience.

Special Skills and Abilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent phone and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Works with integrity and ethically and is able to inspire the trust of others.
