Job description

A dynamic and loving family in Boston is seeking a top-notch career nanny to work on a rotational schedule caring for their toddlers, ages 3 and 2. The schedule will be seven days on and seven days off, with flexibility to work 24/7 while on rotation. The ideal candidate will be local to Boston and able to live-out, though the family will consider candidates willing to relocate, as well as those on the East Coast. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided as needed while on rotation.

  • All care of the children, including sole-charge care as needed 
  • Collaborating with parents and other staff to create a cohesive and child-focused environment in the home 
  • Researching and scheduling classes and activities
  • Actively engaging with the children in a creative and developmentally appropriate way 
  • Child-related tidying and organization 
  • Preparation for travel- packing, planning and scheduling activities, and coordinating with hotels as needed 
  • Traveling for extended periods both domestically and internationally 

  • Able to "read the room" and step in and out as needed 
  • True team player- the ability to collaborate with other household staff is essential 
  • Playful and fun, but able to maintain limits and structure 
  • Experience with full-charge care, and able to operate autonomously as needed 
  • Comfortable taking direction from the lead nanny and maintain existing household structures and systems 

  • US work authorization
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience
  • Strong toddler skills
  • Experience working with a full household staff
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods 
  • Experience and comfort flying privately 
  • Previous experience working a ROTA schedule, or a similarly demanding schedule (as a travel nanny, NCS, etc.)

  • Hourly rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $145k-$165k, DOE
