Our one-year Medical/Surgical to Critical Care Transition Pathway is designed to give you the training, mentorship, and progressive experiences you need to build confidence and develop the skill set for a future in critical care.What You'll Experience
  • Months 1-10: Medical-Surgical CoreStrengthen your bedside nursing foundation while attending Nurse Residency Program with embedded Critical Care Fundamentals.
  • Month 11: Step-Down Orientation
    Orient to Step-down intermediate unit with targeted support and begin our Critical Care Bootcamp.
  • Month 12: Critical Care Transition
    Orient to Critical care. Work one-on-one with an ICU preceptor, complete specialty-focused fellowship modules, and begin interview process for potential placement.
