Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Rotating Machinist to support production by assembling and wiring generator components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will work hands-on with copper wiring to assemble generators, ensuring all components are properly connected to complete full functionality. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work, follows instructions carefully, and can consistently meet daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble rotating machines such as generators, motors, and related components
  • Wire generators and related components using copper wiring
  • Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately
  • Use hand tools and power tools to cut, route, and secure wiring
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain consistent production output while meeting daily quotas
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and functionality

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced production setting

Required Qualifications

  • Must have 2-4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
  • Experience in manufacturing or production
  • Previous wiring or assembly experience
  • Experience working with copper wiring or electrical components
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and written instructions in English
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
  • Good hand dexterity and comfort working with wiring components
  • Ability to meet production quotas in a repetitive environment
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
