Permanent Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Neonatology
Location: Nevada.
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days & nights)

Position Details:
  • Patient Population: Neonatal (Level III NICU, high-acuity and critical infants including ELBW)
  • Setting: Hospital-based NICU
  • Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care, manage complex/critical cases, participate in resuscitation and neonatal transport, collaborate with neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists
  • Required Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation and advanced NICU interventions
  • EMR System: Not specified
  • Support Staff: 13 neonatologists and 12 APPs (NNPs/PAs), full pediatric subspecialty support
  • Days Per Month: Full-time rotating schedule
  • On-Call/Weekends: Included in rotation

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
  • Nevada license (or willing to obtain)
