Position Title: Mechanic
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old
Position Type: Full-Time

Description:
As a Mechanic at Prestressed Concrete Construction, LLC, you will be an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our trailers, yard trucks, tires, and other equipment essential to the daily operations of our precast/prestressed and hollowcore concrete production facility. This position requires hands-on mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to equipment care, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on trailers, yard trucks, and other equipment used in concrete production, including tires, engines, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks to keep vehicles and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs to ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery and vehicles.
  • Maintain and organize a well-equipped maintenance shop with appropriate tools and supplies for efficient repair tasks.
  • Work with production teams to ensure that necessary equipment is available and operational for production schedules.
