Job description

Senior Network Engineer - Government Cloud Platforms
Location: Raleigh, NC (On-Site)
We're seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and security of next-generation government cloud infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work alongside hardware, software, and cybersecurity professionals building secure, mission-critical environments for U.S. Government programs.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in government or defense networking, understands secure network architecture, and has the technical depth expected of a senior engineer.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • U.S. Citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
  • 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
  • Experience designing, installing, configuring, and securing enterprise network infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, TACLANE, or similar networking technologies
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and secure network architectures
  • AWS cloud networking experience, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, and related services
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience performing site surveys, network installations, testing, and documentation
  • Ability to create and maintain network diagrams using Visio or similar tools
  • Experience supporting ATO documentation and secure government networking environments preferred
  • Strong communication, customer interaction, and technical leadership skills
  • Security+, CCNA Security, or another DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
  • CCNP preferred

What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement secure network solutions supporting cloud-based development environments
  • Build and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure for government programs
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop secure networking solutions
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and secure network hardware and cloud connectivity
  • Produce network documentation, diagrams, and technical deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity teams
  • Participate in occasional travel for site surveys, installations, and testing

If you're looking to apply your networking expertise to meaningful government programs while working on modern cloud technologies, we'd like to speak with you.
Please note: This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher, U.S. citizenship, and no dual citizenship. Third-party agencies will not be considered.
